FHE: PI DAY!

Anyone coming here will now be surprised to see this blog updated.

The Mountain Park Ward YSA have done a lot since 2014 so let's start off our the update 

with our most recent event: Pi Day!

We combined with Mountain View ward and held a few activities.

We first had a Pie eating contest and it was our very own Amy Cheung who won.

Next, things got a bit messy with our pie throwing.

I think the cherry pies were the best part too.

 After the pie throw, we all sat down to and had a good time eating the rest of our pies.

mmmmmmm...who doesn't love pie.

FHE: Cultural Night

Last week, the ward was divided into different Family Home Evening groups. 

This week for FHE, one of the fabulous groups chose to do a cultural night. 

They had a potluck, in which everyone contributed food from their missions, cultural backgrounds....

or just food that they enjoy. 

They each got a chance to share about their family's cultural background, mingle, and, of course,
eat delicious food! 

What a fun night! 

Happy Birthday to Mesa East YSA Stake!

Also on June 10, it marked the one year birthday of our stake being formed. Every ward had to perform a skit of a day in the life of a young single adult. Not to brag, but the Mountain Park had the best skit! Our theme was pirates! Check out the video! Singles Ward Pirates

Mountain Park YSA Ward turns 1!

On June 10, the Mountain Park Ward celebrated their first year of being a ward! And of course there is no better way to celebrate than with a birthday party! And boy do we know how to party!!

Stake Halloween Party

The stake activities committee put on an awesome Halloween shin dig Monday and it was a blast! The dj, the costume, the candy and the loads of people made for a fun night!
