Weekly Activities and Sunday Wrap-Up

Today was another exciting Sabbath day for our ward. We are thankful for all who were released today, who have served so faithful in their callings. Congratulations to all those who have received new callings. Some awesome points from Sacrament meeting today were: Confidently obey. There is no sacrifice when the Lord's will is our will. How can we become converted and spiritually self reliant? (Elder Hales, Apr. 2012) The temple can help us endure any trial we face. And last but not least, what greater witness than from God? A big shout out to the musical numbers this week and last week, they were both amazing! Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. Sunday, June 24 the first ever, Mesa YSA East Stake Fireside! The Fireside will begin at 7pm at the Red Mountain Institute Building. Family Home Evening is Dancing with Amy at 7 pm at the Red Mountain Institute Building. Come out and get to know other people in the ward. Remember that Thursday, July 19 at 7 pm will be our service activity for the month. We will be doing a Call Center and reaching out to others. Also, keep Saturday, July 14 marked on your calendars. We will be having a breakfast and possible hike before. More information to come soon.
