The Happenings.

Well here is what has been going on lately in the ward:

Today we had another good sacrament meeting and another amazing musical number! Our ward definitely has some talented musicians. Speaking of which, come out to ward choir Sundays after church, because we need you there! :)
After church we had another linger longer; this time it was an ice cream social.

Linger longers will be the second and fifth Sundays of the month, in case you were wondering.

Family Home Evening this week Hunger Games at Red Mountain Park (Brown and Sterling, right next to Red Mountain High School) at 7 pm. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet in! Wanna plan ahead? Next weeks FHE will be another fun Swim Party at the Sutherlands home at 7 pm. If you are wanting to eat there, food will be there from 6-7.

Ward Temple Day is this Tuesday, August 14th. We will be going to the 7:30 pm session and if you want to go in the morning, you can go to the 6 am session. If you are wanting to go to the baptistry, it shouldn't be busy in the morning, but go a little earlier if you are going at night.

Relief Society sisters, mark your calendars for Saturday, August 25th. We will be having a Breakfast Potluck at Red Mountain Park at 8 am at the east ramada. Come out and get to know each other better.

Last but not least, the Ward Talent Show is this Saturday (August 18th). Come out for a fun and entertaining night. You know what else is this Saturday? A baptism! Congratulations to Braxten, his baptism will be at 10 am, Saturday August 18th at the Alta Mesa Stake Center.
Oh and another congratulations to Briley Hundley and Madi Reis who are getting married this week.
